20-year-old Alexa Bartell was sadly killed last week in a rock-throwing incident, and it has now come to light that Joseph Koenig, one of the three teenagers accused of her death, posted a distressing image on social media in December.

On the evening of April 19, Bartell was returning from work when Koenig, Nicholas “Mitch” Karol-Chik, and Zachary Kwak tossed a rock at her car at Indiana Street next to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, causing the injuries that ultimately resulted in her premature death.
Several months before the fatal incident, Joseph Koenig posted an image to his Facebook page showing a motorcycle with the sticker,
JUST KILLED A WOMAN…FEELING GOOD.
Although it is not confirmed whether the motorcycle in the picture belonged to Koenig, the sticker’s quote reportedly became a meme after being said by Twitch streamer and YouTuber Tommy Innit during an online video game.

Joseph Koenig is an American teen who allegedly killed 20-year-old Alexa Bartell by tossing a rock at her car when she was returning from work.
He is just 18 years old and a resident of Colorado. His father’s name is Mark Edwin, who was also detained this week after allegedly attempting to stop investigators from questioning his son about the incident.
Joseph Koenig was apparently known for his unstable behavior even before his participation in the deadly rock-throwing incident, according to his neighbors and acquaintances. According to an affidavit provided by one of his friends, Joseph Bopp, he was prone to “destructive behavior” and enjoyed creating chaos.
According to a CBS News Colorado report, a neighbor who was familiar with Koenig said that the news of the teenager’s arrest did not come as a surprise.
