After the breakdown, Moyer allegedly attempted to contact multiple individuals for a ride.
Where Was Her Phone Found?
Complicating the situation, her phone was discovered at a store near the Germantown area on Monday, though it remains unclear if her car, bearing the license plate MCF4182, has been located in the vicinity.
Authorities have appealed to the public for any information and requested individuals to contact the central detective division of the Philadelphia police department.
In response to Moyer’s mysterious disappearance, concerned friends and community members have taken to social media, urging people to share any information that could help locate her.
Friends Calling For Urgency
A Facebook post by her close friend, Chloe Galler, emphasized the urgency of the situation and called for assistance in locating Moyer. Another friend, Lauren Christine, expressed that Moyer is deemed to be in extreme danger since her car trouble in Germantown on Sunday.
Despite finding her phone at a nearby store, there is no sign of Moyer. Descriptions of her last known location and appearance, including brown hair, a height of 5 feet 6 inches, and a weight of 130 pounds, have been shared widely on social media.
The post concerning Moyer’s disappearance has garnered significant attention, with many individuals sharing messages of support and offering prayers for her safe return.
Authorities have described Moyer as a white female, and anyone with information leading to her whereabouts is urged to contact the central detective division at the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-3093 or 215-686-3094.
In a separate incident earlier this month, a tragic discovery was made when 42-year-old Bobby Pipkin Jr, a missing man from Chester County, Pennsylvania, was found dead in a wrecked vehicle off Lancaster Pike in Hockessin.
Police believe Pipkin’s vehicle crossed over into the eastbound lane and crashed into a guardrail. His car was discovered by a passing motorist who promptly notified authorities, as per reports.
