A day after Pavel Durov’s arrest, reports surfaced online and revealed the identity of the mysterious woman. As per reports, the mysterious woman, who may have played a role in Pavel’s capture, is identified as Yulia Vavilova.
Yulia, is a 24-year-old crypto coach and streamer from Dubai. She’s been frequently seen with Pavel in various locations like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan, practically inseparable from the businessman.
Vavilova currently lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, just like Durov who has lived in Dubai since 2014. Dubai is also Telegram’s headquarters.
Vavilova often shows off her Counter Strike action on Twitch and in her YouTube bio, Vavilova explains that she is a Twitch streamer living in Dubai. In addition to gaming, she also has an interest in crypto and NFT.

As per reports, Yulia Vavilova was with Pavel on the private jet when they landed in Paris, just before they were apprehended by French authorities. As of now it’s unclear whether Vavilova is Pavel’s girlfriend or just a close associate, but their frequent appearances together suggest more than just a casual connection.
Whenever Pavel is spotted somewhere, Yulia is often seen nearby, sharing Instagram stories from his jet or enjoying upscale locations where Pavel is known to relax.
In fact, Yulia had posted several photos from Paris, which some in the crypto community believe may have tipped off the authorities.
However, claims swirl around internet indicating that Yulia is more than just a companion as numerous theories went viral speculating that she might have been involved in orchestrating the entire situation.

Some even suggest she could be a honeytrap, tipped off someone, or perhaps is involved in activities we aren’t aware of yet. There are whispers that she might even be a spy.
As of now, Pavel is facing serious charges that could lead to up to 20 years in prison if the French authorities choose to prosecute. He can be held in detention for up to four days while they decide whether to press charges.
