Sebastian Vettel was raging with the F1 race officials at the Belgian Grand Prix after Lando Norris endured a horrific crash at Spa

As inclement weather took over the Belgian Grand Prix 2021 and incessant rain lashed the Eau Rogue, Sebastian Vettel pleaded the race officials to bring in the red flag and pause the race.

And the Aston Martin man was soon proved right as dwindling visibility saw Lando Norris be part of a shambolic crash at Spa. The McLaren man saw his car swerve and go spinning into the left side barrier, a mammoth accident which left everyone aghast at the set of events which had unraveled.

As Sebastian Vettel was informed of the crash on his team radio, the Aston Martin driver was seen livid. He went on a rampage, bellowing, “What the **** did I say?!” What did I say?! Red Flag! It’s unnecessary. Is he ok?” before stopping next to Norris to check if he was alright.

Vettel’s act was massively lauded with many appreciating the Aston Martin man for not caring about his own race and putting Norris’ life above the Belgian Grand Prix. Vettel only proceeded once he saw movement from Norris and was rest assured that the British driver was able to get out of the car.

Meanwhile, the red flag was finally enforced in the aftermath of Norris’ crash to bring a halt to the qualifying race. Meanwhile McLaren have gone onto provide an update on Norris’ injury with the team informing that while he had gotten out of the car safely, he was still ongoing checks at the medical center at the track.
