Amidst the team dynamics, the Pro Kabaddi League also spotlights individual brilliance through the prestigious orange and green bands, recognizing the best defender and raider of the season similar to the orange and purple cap in the IPL.

The Orange band is reserved for the player who accumulates the highest number of tackle points throughout the tournament.

Defenders playing a pivotal role in ensuring team consistency, find their efforts acknowledged with this honour marking them as the top defender of the season.

Conversely, the Green band stands as the pinnacle for raiders. Awarded to the player with the highest raid points in the season, this honor distinguishes the raider as the epitome of attacking prowess. 

In the fast-paced world of Kabaddi, raiders take center stage, and winning the green band solidifies their status as the season’s top raider.


The Pro Kabaddi history unveils a rich tapestry of exceptional performances. 

Reflecting on past seasons’ winners,’Hi-Flyer’ Pawan Sehrawat stands as the sole player to secure the green band thrice, an unprecedented feat. 

Defensive stalwarts Fazel Atrachali and Manjeet Chillar have each claimed the orange band twice, underscoring their consistent excellence in the league.

Arjun Deshwal, Pardeep Narwal, Mohammadreza Shadloui, Ankush, Rahul Chaudhari, Kashiling Adake, Ravinder Pahal, Surender Nada, Nitesh Kumar, and Anup Kumar have also left an indelible mark, setting the stage for tradition and anticipation in each new season.


The battle for the orange and green bands intensifies as the season nears the finish line currently leading the charge for the green band, Ashu Malik’s 190 successful raids and 222 raid points make a compelling case for him as the top raider of the season.


The green band current list also includes, Arjun Deshwal with 164 successful raids and 213 raid points, Maninder Singh with 129 successful raids and 166 raid points, Guman Singh with 120 successful raids and 151 raid points and lastly Pawan Sehrawat with 117 successful raids and 151 raid points.

On the defensive front, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh’s all-around skills shine, leading the race for the orange band with 71 successful tackles.


The orange band list also includes Sagar and Sahil Gulia with 60 tackle points and Gaurav Khatri and Yogesh with 57 tackle points.
