The Westminster Dog Show will be returning to the Big Apple on Monday and Tuesday, bringing the prettiest sports event back on the calendar this weekend. It will take place at a different location this year for the third time in its lengthy history.

2023 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show schedule, date, venue, format, & previous year winner
According to confirmed schedule, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the second-oldest annual sporting event in the United States, behind only the Kentucky Derby, will be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in New York City. There will be a competition involving more than 3,000 canines of more than 200 different breeds. Tuesday night will see the presentation of the prized “Best in Show” award. As the first Bloodhound to win Best in Show at Westminster in its 146-year existence, Trumpet the Bloodhound took home the trophy last year.
From May 8 to May 9, 2023, fans will see the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Prior to the Westminster Dog Show on Saturday, the 8th Annual Masters Obedience Championship and the 10th Anniversary Masters Agility Championship get the weekend started.

The broadcasts on Monday and Tuesday will be available to stream on Westminsterkennelclub.org and the FOX Sports App, with Fox Sports 2 carrying them from 1-4 p.m. ET and Fox Sports 1 carrying them from 7-11 p.m. ET. At the conclusion of the telecast on Tuesday, Best in Show will be declared.
