In a single balloon, thirty passengers will be able to soar up to 1,000 feet, know the date, time and ticket prices of the Varanasi Hot Air Balloon Festival event 2021

A hot air balloon event will be placed in Kashi from November 17 to 19, during which tourists will be able to soar up to 1,000 feet and experience amazing views of the area. In a single balloon, thirty passengers will be able to soar up to 1,000 feet. They will be able to witness spectacular views of Varanasi from these balloons. Varanasi Hot Air Balloon Event will enable tourists to get a 360-degree extravagant view of Kashi.

The Tourism Department has set the admission price at Rs 500 per person, according to District Commissioner Deepak Agrawal. Four facilities for taking off and landing balloons have been built around Varanasi. At Domri, CHS Sports Ground, BLW Sports Ground, and Sigra Stadium, balloon-flying stations have been erected.

Eight pilots, seven of whom are foreigners, will pilot the balloons. The balloons will fly for 45 minutes in the morning, according to Agrawal. The balloons will be under the control of ATC while in flight. The four stations must follow his instructions in order to fly safely and in sync.

The Rudheraksh International Cooperation and Convention Centre in Varanasi is planning to celebrate the ‘Kashi Utsav’ from November 16 to 18. This is to honour Kashi’s classic legacy and culture, particularly the centuries-old luminaries Goswami Tulsidas, Sant Kabir, Sant Raidas, Bhartendu Harishchandra, Munshi Premchand, and Jaishankar Prasad, according to the Official Statement.

The festival will feature eleven hot air balloons, according to Varanasi District Commissioner Deepak Agrawal. It’s a marketing event. It is being worked on to make it a regular event in Kashi.

According to a press release from the Union Ministry of Culture, the event is being hosted by the IGNCA on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, with the support of the Uttar Pradesh State Government and the Varanasi Administration, as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ a Government of India initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India.

Each day of the festival will revolve around a theme, which are likely to be ‘Kashi ke Hastakshar,’ ‘Kabir, Raidas ki Bani aur Nirgun Kashi,’ and ‘Kavita aur Kahani – Kashi ki Zubani.’ These Kashi figures will be highlighted through panel talks, exhibitions, film screenings, music, theatre, and dance performances.

There will be performances by well-known performers at the event. Manoj Tiwari, a Member of Parliament, will be performing live on ‘Tulsi ki Kashi’ on the last day. Artists will also be performing devotional performances at the event– Kalapini Komkali, Bhuvanesh Komkali, Padma Shri Bharti Bandhu, and Maithili Thakur. According to the official release, Varanasi’s Vyomesh Shukla directed the play.

Cost Of The Festival: Ticket Prices And Where To Buy The Tickets From

Department of Tourism has fixed the ticket price at a nominal cost of Rs 500 per person. The tickets can be bought on location.
