Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection may make its PC debut this July, according to a recent Steam leak, know its release date
Since its inception, Naughty Dog’s treasure-hunting cinematic series Uncharted has been a PlayStation mainstay. The franchise has become synonymous with the PlayStation brand, from the original trilogy on the PS3, and later on the PS4 as Nathan Drake Collection, to the Thief’s End and Lost Legacy on the PS4, and earlier this year on the PS5 as Legacy of Thieves collection.
With the Legacy of Thieves collection bringing two of the most recent titles to the PS5 (Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: Lost Legacy), the collection was also confirmed for a PC release at a later date, which appears to have just been leaked on Steam’s backend.
Uncharted Legacy Of Thieves Collection PC Release Date
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves may be coming to PC on July 15, 2022, according to a recent Steam database leak.
During a routine Steam database update, the leak revealed a slew of potential release dates, all of which were recorded by SteamDB. Aside from Uncharted, the leak revealed the release dates for several other titles, including Hollow Knight Silksong, which has a placeholder date of 2028.
For the time being, July 2022 appears to be an open month with no notable titles scheduled, but that could change once the E3 season begins and announced titles begin receiving release dates.
Previously, PlayStation purchased iconic franchises for PC platforms, such as Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War. While Horizon Zero Dawn was the first game in the series, and God of War, as a reboot in new mythology, was a great place to start, Uncharted may not be the same.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves combines two of the franchise’s most recent titles. A Thief’s End follows Nathan Drake on one final adventure with his brother Sam, whereas Lost Legacy follows Chloe and Nadine as they search for Ganesh’s lost tusks.
Third-person action-adventure games have more linear gameplay with a strong emphasis on narrative cutscenes and quick-time events.
Thief’s End is Nathan Drake’s fourth adventure, and while it stands on its own, it does harken back to the franchise’s previous instalments. As a result, newcomers to the series may feel a little disjointed. Nonetheless, the games will undoubtedly be enjoyable when they arrive on PC this summer.
