Cricket fans are gearing up for an exciting cricketing spectacle that promises action-packed matches which begins ahead of the new year.

In the New Zealand domestic T20 event, six strong sides square off, each desperate to win the coveted title in this quick version of the game. In the course of 40 days and 32 T20 matches, six teams will battle in the 19th Super Smash.

Every squad will play every other side twice in a double round-robin format, as per the schedule. During the league phase, each team will play ten games.
After all league games, the team with the highest standings advances directly to the championship game. For the other spot in the grand finale, the teams ranked second and third will square off in the elimination final.
