What was Rajat Sharma’s opinion on the feud of Virat Kohli & Gautam Gambhir?

After veteran journalist Rajat Sharma criticized him for his ugly altercation with Virat Kohli during the LSG versus RCB match in Lucknow, former team India batter and coach of the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, Gautam Gambhir retaliated by roasting Sharma. For those who are unaware, Sharma severely criticized Gambhir on his programme on the news network India TV, both in the latter’s role as a former cricketer and a Member of Parliament.

Sharma went on to say that Gambhir had a problem with Kohli’s increasing popularity before criticizing Gambhir’s conduct as being contrary to the spirit of sportsmanship. The seasoned reporter had concluded by saying Gambhir’s behavior was harmful to sports and ought to be denounced.

Rajat Sharma was called out by Gautam Gambhir on social media for the remarks he made about the LSG mentor. The LSG coach implied that Sharma was a man who left Delhi Cricket due to pressure without explicitly giving his name. Even worse, he continued to imply that Sharma’s concern for cricket was a joke and that his harmful criticism of Gambhir was a “Paid PR” stunt.

Given that Sharma was appointed to the position of president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) in June 2018, it is likely that Gambhir was making fun of Sharma’s 20-month term in that position. It is important to note that Sharma had resigned as president of the DDCA, citing his inability to hold onto the position owing to conflict within the organization.
