What Exactly Happened in Chapter 131
In chapter 131 of Oshi no Ko, titled “Atonement,” Ai explains her background and how she became an idol. The monotony of her facility life drove Ai to seek employment opportunities in Tokyo. When she did, she met Ichigo, who was eager to bring her into B-Komachi as a member. Part of the deal required him to make a sizable payment to a woman at Ai’s facility so that he could serve as her guarantor.
Aqua’s confrontation with his grandma, Ayumi Hoshino, occurred later in the chapter. She admitted that she was jealous of her daughter despite her affection for her.
