If you’re not sure what happened in the last chapter of One Piece, let us make it clear, previous chapter of the series Sengoku and Tsuru are discussing T-Bone’s news and how the Cross Guild is becoming a major threat at Marine HQ, where HIna later arrives and joins the conversation.

Sengoku inquires about Garp and says that he wanted him to try the new flavor of Okaki, to which Hina responds that Garp left a few days ago, explaining that he is going to save Koby from Black Beard, and it also appears that he took SWORD and Kujaki with him, which of course shocks Sengoku and Tsure, prompting him to exclaim, “WHAAAAT!!?”
So they’re surprised by this, because Kujaku is Tsuru’s granddaughter, and Sengoku is Sengoku, and it’s surprising that they didn’t know about it, though I guess it makes sense because Garp left without telling anyone except the people he took.
Now that Sengoku and Tsuru are aware of this, I am certain that it will set off a chain of events that will cause the entire Navy to begin pursuing the Pirate Island, or perhaps Sengoku and Tsuru will remain calm about it, but probably not.
We then return to the Cross Guild’s base on Karai Bari Island, where we see Buggy sending money to the family of the man who killed T-Bone, though we still don’t know how much money is actually T-Bone’sbounty,and Buggy also says that civilian guy will join the Cross Guild and Buggy will protect him from the Marines.
Here, we also see a Cross Guild ship, about which we learn that it has the head of Buggy the Clown as a kind of figurehead, and the rest of the ship is clown themed, though the ship does not yet have a name. After seeing this, Mihawk and Crocodile beat Buggy, and no one from Buggy’s crew attempts to save him, which will be entertaining to watch.
Later, we see Buggy opposing Crocodile’s plan, saying that what Crocodile wants to do is not what true pirates do. This is also when we see a flashback of Buggy and Shunks, more than 24 years ago at Logue town, on the same day of the execution of the Pirate King, Gold D Roger. We also see that it is going to the panel, which we saw previously in chapter 434.
After saying that, Shanks tells Buggy that he doesn’t have to worry because he will be a pirate and invites Buggy to accompany him, to which Buggy responds that he is willing to work under him.
This is when we see Buggy become extremely angry and sad because he secretly hoped that Shanks would follow in Roger’s footsteps and find the greatest treasure in the world, whereas Buggy has already abandoned his ambition because he is well aware that he is no match for Shanks.
We return to the present, where Buggy asks Crocodile and Mihawk if they are unaware that the Red Pirates are on the move, and we see Buggy become enraged because Shanks has decided to do so, and Shanks’ move enrages him.
