A young football player of Selangor FC named Muhammad Husni Idrus died at the age of 21, after playing in the match of the President’s Cup in Kelana Jaya, know his cause of death
Muhammad Husni Idrus, a Selangor young footballer, died on Wednesday, only hours after playing in a 3-0 President’s Cup loss to Johor Darul Ta’zim III (JDT III) at KNS Field in Kelana Jaya.

The post-mortem and further investigation are still ongoing.
The FA of Malaysia (FAM) and Selangor FC both expressed their sympathies to the family of the deceased and asked that the public respect their privacy. JDT also offered condolences to the residents of Kampung Sungai Kertas, saying,

Who was Muhammad Husni Idrus?
Muhammad Husni Idrus was a young footballer from Malaysia. He was born on 10th June 2021. He is only 21 years old at the time of his death. He is one of the most aspiring players of his age.
Before died, he played for Malaysia based Selangor FC football club as a striker. He played under the category of under-21.
He was an early player who began participating at a very young age. He began playing soccer at a very young age, and after putting in a lot of hard effort, he became a well-known football player.
His fans and social media general public are currently paying respect to him. This demonstrates their feelings for him. His family is in shock; they don’t seem to understand what happened to their son, and they also don’t know what caused his death.
His Death Cause
According to reports, the footballer has a history of asthma. Supt Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, deputy chief of the Petaling Jaya district police, said the information came from an examination of the 21-year-old footballer’s medical records.
He claimed the player was discovered unconscious beside a restroom at a food court in Sunway X Park, Petaling Jaya, at 9.58 p.m. on May 25, 2022, following the match. He suffered shortness of breath till he fainted and lost consciousness there.
The victim’s body was brought to the University Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death, according to Ku Mashariman.
