Check out when will Man United play next and the pre-season tour 2023 schedule, dates and fixtures
Over the course of a season that has seen many high points, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has consistently balanced any praise with a dash of caution.
Man United pre-season tour 2023 schedule, dates, time, fixtures, venue, teams
After a four-game winning streak that ended with a 3-1 victory over league-leading Arsenal in September, Ten Hag promptly dashed the unrealistic aspirations of “dreaming fans” and preached: “There is a lot of room for improvement.”
Sunday’s match versus Fulham at Old Trafford did not end United’s massive 2022–23 season. Prior Manchester United’s final game of the season, there isn’t much time to make the strides Ten Hag is still seeking, but a gracious break is just around the corner.
FA Cup final
United still needs to play in the FA Cup final before the 2022–23 campaign is over. The 62nd and final game of the season for United will take place on Saturday, June 3, against the freshly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City.
In addition to the bragging rights reserved for the winner of the first-ever Manchester derby in an FA Cup final, a bigger sense of history lingers over the Wembley spectacle. The outcome of the Champions League final between City and Inter the next weekend will determine whether or not the team will join United in 1999 as the second English team to win the European Treble.

Pre-season plans
Midway through July, United plays Lyon at Murrayfield in Edinburgh before departing for the US. After a restful offseason, United can begin their second year under the Dutch manager without the majority of their players being forced to withdraw due to a demanding international competition.
Arsenal, the runners-up in the Premier League, are United’s opponent in their opening match of a quick tour of America at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and other NFL teams.
On the opposite side of the continent, Wrexham would be waiting for United just three days later. The National League champions—notably owned by Hollywood’s Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney—will visit United on July 25. Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, two of Europe’s top teams, are awaiting in a condensed international schedule that could include a fourth game.

Premier League start date
The 32nd Premier League season is scheduled to start on Saturday, August 12, 2023, just 48 days after the 2022–23 campaign ends.
United will get their exact fixture schedule on Thursday, June 15, particularly at 9am. This will be at least the first draft before the various revisions that take place during the heat of the season.
Champions League start date
The first round of group stage matches, which fall on September 19–20, 2023, will feature United’s first game back in the big leagues. In United’s most recent Champions League group match, Mason Greenwood scored the game’s first goal. After the first international break of the new season, the Champions League’s inaugural matchday is anticipated to occur.
Carabao Cup and FA Cup start dates
There are currently no set official dates for these advanced stages. The Carabao Cup’s first round will begin the week of August 7, 2023, but the third round will likely begin in late November.
Traditionally, the third round of the FA Cup doesn’t start until the new year. However, the Premier League has scheduled a midseason break between January 13 and January 20 – a move Ten Hag has previously urged the league to take.
