As many as five players from Los Angeles Lakers are currently on the injury bed, know the list of the injured players, their report, status, update and return date

The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be in a lot of trouble in the on-going season. After having to play without many players in the season, Lakers have also had to play two games without LeBron James against Oklahoma City Thunder. Lakers have to benched many players due to injuries they have sustained.

According to the injury report released by the Lakers, many players will sit out of the match against Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have missed games due to a variety of injuries and now a few other names have popped up on the report.

The list comprises of players who will miss the matches due to small or big injuries that could heal in a few weeks, or will take a larger rehabilitation period for the athlete.

Trevor Ariza, Kendrick Nunn and Talen Horton-Tucker will be sitting out of many NBA games because of the injuries that they have sustained. The newest addition to the list is of LeBron James who will be unavailable for at least one to two weeks because of an abdominal injury.

Trevor Arzia had sustained an ankle injury because of which he will be out of the season till December 15. Talen Horton-Tucker is out of the playing team because of a thumb injury till November 8, at least. Added to the list of injuries is Kendrick Nunn’s name as well. He suffered a knee injury and is expected to stay out of the playing team till November 8, as well.

In addition, Anthony Davis is likely to miss the upcoming games after pulling out with a stomach problem. Davis’ comeback date is yet to be decided. It will be crucial to see if the big man ultimately decides to play through the injury. On the other hand, Dwight Howard’s return is a huge possibility as he recovers from neck stiffness.

LeBron James’ Recurring Injuries

LeBron James, who is reportedly out for one to two weeks, has already missed a match against the Thunder. He will now miss the coming two matches on Saturday vs. Portland and Monday vs. the Hornets. James does not have the same ankle problem that has plagued him this season. It’s now a stomach ailment.
