Sneijder received his four awards while playing for his country at the 2010 World Cup, where they finished as runners-up. During the 2014 World Cup, Lionel Messi of Argentina got his fourth MOM award. He was also named the FIFA World Cup player since he felt his country came close to winning the tournament.
