In the previous episode, we have seen a flashback to the time of Ancient Jeju. There, Wonjeong is fighting to rescue Ban and Gong-tan from Leader Jongryeong. He is unaware that Ban had accidentally attacked her. She makes an effort to fight the split demons before running away. Wonjeong passes out on the road, so the two lads had to carry him back to the palace. Indignant, Lord Jongryeong orders his soldiers to execute the boys for what happened so many years ago. The children are asked to hold out until Wonjoeong returns to rescue them, as he has promised to do.
Returning to the present, Giovanni lands on Jeju Island only hours before Secretary Kang, the demon-possessed man, assaulted Min-ho. The priest is welcomed by Butler Jang at a remote home deep within the jungle. When he tells Giovanni that the sorcerer is a young Korean, Giovanni is horrified. Butler Jang begins by summarizing the famous exorcisms performed by Giovanni throughout the years.

Episode 3 of the ongoing Korean web series Island is going to have many exciting turns of events. Won Miho and Yohan will work together to look for a lost student, as the preview indicates. On the other side, a strange supernatural creature named Van will encounter a guest from the past. Goong Tan, who is likely Van’s brother and maybe the series’ main villain, is this “mystery voice.” In the first episode, Goong Tan already introduced.’
The girl from episode 2 will help Miho and Yohan locate somebody who knows how to put an end to the darkness on Jeju Island. Ban has returned to the mountain fortress where he is keeping the demon stone from the previous evening. He remembers his last meeting with Wonjeong nearby. In a flashback, Ban is seen killing Wonjeong when fully controlled by the devil. The present-day Ban questions whether he should be grateful to Wonjeong for forgetting him or angry over it.
