How To Vote For Seoul Music Awards 2023 And Voting App After Nominees List Is Released
This year, BTS, Blackpink, IVE, NCT 127, NCT Dream, Psy, Red Velvet, Stray Kids, Seventeen, Taeyeon, TXT, The Boyz, and other artists have received nominations for the major prize (Bonsang) of SMA 2023. Tempest, Le Sserafim, and New Jeans are among the rookie artists nominated.
Date Of The 2023 Seoul Music Awards Voting
Voting for the 2023 Seoul Music Awards began on December 6. There will be two rounds of voting in total for SMA 2023. Phase 1 voting is open from December 6 through December 25, at 11:59 KST/9:59 ET.
Phase 2 voting runs from December 27 at 12 p.m. KST through January 15 at 11 p.m. KST/9 a.m. ET.
Eligibility Requirements
Winners of the Main Award (Bonsang), Rookie, OST, Trot, Ballad, and R&B/Hip Hop categories of the Seoul Music Awards will be chosen based on rating. These ratings will be based on 40% of the judges’ ratings, 30% of album and song sales in 2022 (according to data from the Haneo Chart), and 40% of mobile votes.
How To Vote In The 2023 Seoul Music Awards
The Main Award (Bonsang), Rookie of the Year, Popularity Award, K-Wave Award, OST Award, Trot Award, and Ballad Award. Along with them are the R&B/Hip Hop Award among the categories that K-pop fans can vote for in the Seoul Music Awards 2023.
Fans from other countries can vote for the K-Wave Award but not the Popularity Award. 50 per cent of the nominees’ overall vote totals from both voting rounds will be taken into consideration.
Here is the list of how to vote:
- Each vote requires 100 votes and fans are allowed up to ten votes every day.
- Fans can watch up to 60 ads to receive free hearts. Every advertisement adds 20 hearts to your account.
