F1 Teams 2021: New Teams And Drivers To Have Graced The Circuit

F1 Teams 2021: As the new technical and sporting regulations kick in since 2022 season, take a look at the possible new teams that could enter the F1 competition.

With the covid-19 pandemic having to delay all sporting activities, Formula 1 was no exception. Although the racing series was supposed to head into new regulatory changes in 2012, it all ahs been postponed to the 2022 season. Apart from the regulatory changes, there could potentially be new teams also entering into Formula 1 from the next season.

Given in 2022, the new Concorde agreement would be implemented. In simpler words, this means that the team shall not have to spend much money for 2021. As well, the decision was made that the entry fee for a new team would be a whopping sum of $200 Million.

Brand new F1 teams were hinted to enter earlier which linked motorsports management company Monaco Increase Management and Spanish motor racing team Campos Racing. Having said that the last team to enter the F1 grid was Haas in 2016.

The on-going pandemic has left current F1 teams to lack majorly on the financial aspect. Be it McLaren or Williams F1, they have always started cost cutting to save onto their budget capital in 2021.

  • Monaco F1 Racing

MIM already has strong links with former F1 driver Pascal Wehrlein. Not only that the MIM management also has talented Spanish Driver Alex Palou on it sbooks. The latter racing driver mad ehis IndyCar debut for Dale Coyne Racing after campaign in Formula 2 and Japanese Super Formula.

  • Campos Racing

The CEO of Formula 2 stated that Campos Racing had confirmed to have interest in entering the FIA F1 World Championship in 2020. Salvatore Gandolfo, CEO and co owner of Campos Racing, earlier stated that he has enlisted the support of the Spanish motorsport federation behind his bid to enter an F1 team.

He even met with Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey in May 2020 and had subsequent meetings with F1 motorsport director Ross Brawn previously.

  • Panthera Team Asia And Russian SMP Racing 

That being the case, there were multiple reports of Panthera Team Asia F1 and the Russian SMP Racing also looking to enter the F1 grid in 2022 or 2023 perhaps. But as per the above mentioned $200 Million to be paid to enter the grid, the possibility of any team entering soon remains unsurprsingly shrill.
