Anupam Mittal, the shark, initially referred to the business that produces sweets for kids as a declining industry, yet he was later seen holding the check. It all started when a father-and-son team from Gujarat appeared on the show with the concept of a toffee brand called Dobiee Candies.

At the start, Anupam Mittal had no faith in the idea or the brand. However, Amit Jain made the offer, and Anupam made a straight offer of 72 lakhs. After making a counter bid, he acquired Rs. 72 lakhs of investment from Amit in exchange of 6.5% equity.
