For the Commonwealth Games in 2022, India has unveiled a 327-member squad, including 220 athletes and 107 officials and support personnel. Further, in the multi-sport competition, the Indian badminton team will have a combined 10-person squad made up of five men and five women shuttlers.

2022 Commonwealth Games Badminton Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
One of the sports taking place at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, is badminton. Since badminton was added to the Commonwealth Games in 1966, it has been played fifteen times, with two of those tournaments taking place in England. Six events will make up the competition, which will take place between July 29 and August 8, 2022.

2022 Commonwealth Games Mixed Team Badminton Groups & Standings
Sixteen teams were divided into four groups in March 2022 based on their qualification rankings, and the top two teams from each group will proceed to the knockout round. Five matches total—one for men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles—are played in each tie.
The hosts and multiple-time winners England are in Group B with Singapore, Mauritius, and Barbados, while the defending champions India, led by PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen, are in Group A with Australia, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. Canada, Scotland, the Maldives, and Uganda will make up Group C, while Group D, which will feature five-time champions Malaysia along with South Africa, Jamaica, and Zambia, will be the last group of the competition.
