‘Bocchi The Rock!’ is a Korean webcomic written and illustrated by Hamaji Aki, falling into the genres of comedy, seinen, and slice of life. It originally debuted in 2018, published by Hobunsha and featured in the magazine Manga Time Kirara Max (Houbunsha).
Recap
In the previous chapter, Bocchi’s band embarks on a trip to enjoy the Christmas festival. Ryou Yamada, known for her eccentric personality, sneaks alcohol for the night, but Nijika Ijichi catches her, leading to an argument in the car on their way to the festival.
Their worries dissipate upon arriving at the festival site, where they are greeted by the enchanting sight of lantern lights and pink Sakura petals drifting in the air. The group spends a wonderful day together, filled with laughter and enjoyment, except for Bocchi, who remains as introverted as ever.
For Bocchi, this is her first time venturing out on Christmas Eve, and to make things more interesting, she wears track pants and a sweatshirt, completely unprepared for the cold night ahead.
