Litton Das will captain Bangladesh in the initial two matches of the series, while notable players such as Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Taskin Ahmed won’t play due to their recent participation in the 2023 Asia Cup. Despite the absence of these key members, Bangladesh will still boast a wealth of experience with the return of Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Soumya Sarkar, and Nurul Hasan Sohan.
