The court has sided with singer Elizabeth Chan in the trademark dispute involving music icon Mariah Carey. According to a report, the singer of “Vision of Love” applied for the trademark “Queen of Christmas” in August at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Soon after, Carey’s application for the trademarking of the term was met with a formal declaration of objection, which Elizabeth Chan’s lawyer submitted.
Chan announced her victory on Tuesday when the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board barred the singer of “We Belong Together” from sole ownership of the trademarks for the catchphrase as well as other terms like “Princess Christmas” and “QOC”.
