The next episode of the 2021 Horimiya anime series will continue the story of the original television anime adaptation while also adapting additional plotlines from the manga.

On July 1, 2023, Horimiya: The Missing Pieces will be making its premiere which is anticipated by a lot of fans. Horimiya: The Missing Pieces has generated a great deal of enthusiasm among viewers of the original anime series, who are eager to revisit the romantic adventures of the titular ship. Horimiya is a portmanteau of the main characters’ names, Kyoko Hori and Izumi Miyamura.
Theme Songs and Streaming Platforms for Horimiya: The Missing Pieces
A new promotional trailer and key image for the Horimiya: The Missing Pieces anime series was released on June 2, 2023. In addition to announcing a new cast member and the premiere date of Saturday, July 1, the video also reveals and previews the series’ opening and closing theme music.

The series will launch simultaneously on Tokyo MX and MBS in Japan. On July 1, the series will be available on AbemaTV and U-NEXT, and on July 5, it will be made available on additional streaming providers. Crunchyroll, however, will distribute the series abroad as it airs in Japan, therefore this does not apply to overseas streaming providers.
Shiawase (Happiness) by Omoinotake will serve as the opening theme song for Horimiya: The Missing Pieces, while URL, performed by Ami Sakaguchi, will serve as the closing theme song. Daisuke Namikawa has been cast as Kakeru’s father, Takeru Sengoku. As was previously indicated, this adaptation will give life to previously cut material from the original manga.
